Your Right to Data Deletion
At Altrad Homes, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal information at any time.
⚠️ Important Notice
Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once you request deletion, all your account information, property listings, favorites, and profile data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following information will be permanently removed:
- Account Information: Email address, name, phone number, authentication credentials
- Profile Data: Profile picture, seller title, messenger username
- Property Listings: All your property listings, including descriptions, images, and videos
- User Activity: Saved favorites, search history, and preferences
- Communication Records: Contact inquiries and message history
What Data We May Retain
We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records for accounting and tax purposes (anonymized)
- Information required for legal compliance or dispute resolution
- Aggregated, anonymized data for analytics (no personal identification)
- Backup copies that will be deleted during routine system maintenance
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: Email Request (Recommended)
Send an email with the following information:

Include:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Phone number (if provided during registration)
- Authentication method used (Google, Facebook, or Email)
- Reason for deletion (optional, but helps us improve)

Option 2: In-App Deletion (Coming Soon)
We are working on implementing an automated account deletion feature directly in your account settings. This will allow you to:
- Log in to your account
- Go to Settings → Account Settings
- Click "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion
Deletion Timeline
Once we receive your deletion request:
- 1Confirmation (24 hours): We will send you a confirmation email to verify your identity
- 2Processing (7 days): Your account will be deactivated and marked for deletion
- 3Permanent Deletion (30 days): All your data will be permanently removed from our active systems
- 4Backup Cleanup (90 days): Data in backup systems will be purged during routine maintenance
💡 Cancellation Window
You have 7 days after submitting your deletion request to cancel it. After this period, the deletion process cannot be stopped.
Third-Party Authentication
If you signed in using Google or Facebook:
- Deleting your Altrad Homes account does not delete your Google/Facebook account
- To fully disconnect, revoke Altrad Homes access in your Google Account or Facebook Settings
- Your profile data from these platforms will also be removed from our systems
Alternative: Account Deactivation
If you're not ready for permanent deletion, consider temporarily deactivating your account instead:
- Your data remains in our system but is not publicly visible
- You can reactivate your account anytime by logging back in
- Property listings will be hidden but not deleted
- Contact us at altradhomes@gmail.com to request deactivation
After Deletion
Once your data is deleted:
- You will no longer be able to log in to your account
- All your property listings will be removed from the platform
- Buyers will no longer see your contact information
- You can create a new account anytime, but previous data cannot be recovered
